Lovely hotel on pretty square. Quiet and convenient for no4 bus. Although wide range of à la carte for breakfast, small choice of breads etc and expensive.
Sehr schön! Vielen lieben Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt. Einziger Minuspunkt - leider ist es im Bad etwas zu dunkel. Zumindest ein weiterer (Schmink-)Spiegel in einem anderen Raum mit mehr Licht wäre schön. Liebe Grüsse

Schöne Lage in Fribourg. Großer öffentlicher Parkplatz vorm Hotel. Sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück in Ordnung und gut. Preis/Leistung nur ausreichend. Zimmer, Dusche mit einigen Fehlkonstruktionen...

The room was extremely small with no air conditioning, so definitely not recommended during hot weather. We did like the location in the “bas-ville.” Hotel restaurant and lobby were undergoing remodeling which was a bit of an inconvenience as staff are not there at night.
I truly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Sauvage. My room on the very top floor was lovely and spacious. My only issue was that the light in the bathroom was dim. Other than that I loved everything about Hotel Sauvage- the amenities, the design, the breakfast, the bed and the chaise were perfect. The staff was exemplary; helpful, gracious and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay in Old Fribourg.
