Lisbon is a nice place for a cityscape.

Starting with the fact that the host was very unprofessional and texting me that I have to arrive early as they don't have the obligation to wait for me even if on their page it says clearly that check-in is until 21:00. The cleanliness is not their strong side: plenty of dust in the bathroom fan, in the drawer handles and on the hard to reach places. Beds were not that soft and i could feel that. One aspect that bothered me as a runner: they keys for this place are huge. If you're planning to book this place for the Lisbon 10k, Halfmarathon or Marathon, you know that you need to head to start as lightly packed as possible, so a pair of metalic keys juggling in your pocket is not they best option.

Well located, clean rooms with all essential amenities. Staff available and extremely helpful

The location cant be better All buses and trains cross by the door step. Many restaurants and grocery shops are near by. The kitchen is fully equipped and the fridge is nicely organized. The toilets are continuously cleaned and smell nice. Bedsheets and towels are also regularly changed.

One thing only which was you have to use the stairs to reach second floor. But it wasn’t a problem.

I told the receptionist that I know the people who lived in the apartment across the hall, I was being friendly and making conversation with her. I went down to smoke twice, and when I came back the second time she called me as if I was her subordinate and basically ordered me not to go across the hall to my friend’s house, for no reason of course she just did not like my friends (her neighbours) and she did so in a very rude way. She did it again when I asked her if we could leave our luggage after the checkout, she said why not leave it at your friend’s house. To be honest her attitude felt very intrusive with a hint of covert racism, as if I didn’t pay my hard earned money to stay at the establishment but rather she did me a favour. To be clear I did not interact much with the rest of the staff but all I had from them is a smile and cheerful hello.

Came for a conference. Generally good. Good position from the lisbon congress center.

But sometimes noisy. The house holder is nice but kind of demanding. The hotel is on 2nd floor, need to walk and no light in the evening.
