Pebble House (Goring-by-Sea)

Came for a family funeral. Made our time a little easier. Beautiful house in a much loved location.

Nothing everything perfect

Great location. Perfect for dogs. Off road parking. Eirene Avenue is a short no through road for residents only. Pebble House was spacious enough for us and our 2 dogs. Easy walk to shops on Goring Road and to Worthing Pier along the promenade (1.4 miles ish) Good kitchen equipment and cleaning products.

Photos are misleading. House not as big as shown. House needs a deep clean. Most areas needed wiping over. Cream leather sofa needs care and attention. I always take my own throws. Beware it is very noisy with traffic noise from George V road. You can hear the next door neighbours in their house too. I emailed owner and sent photos of the areas of concern as requested in the guest folder but so far no reply which is disappointing. I expected more given the amount paid for 5 nights. Bed linen okay, towels okay. Guest folder needs updating. Vacuum needs replacing, dishwasher needs maintenance. Didn't use oven.

Space and location

Duvet was very thin

Lovely house in a very quiet location. Close to the beach with parking for one car. House has everything you need for a stay and the kitchen has labels everywhere which are very useful. Nice external area to sit in the sun. Very comfortable en suite master bedroom with separate bathroom upstairs for the other bedrooms. As good as anywhere we have previously stayed so would thoroughly recommend it. 2 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk along the promenade to the pier. As Craig Revell Horwood might say "Fab U Lous"

The master shower cubicle needed a clean which we gave it.

Location, enclosed garden.

The towels smelt of cigarette smoke, and bed linen. Bath had not been cleaned.
