Great location, beautiful view from the balcony and very spacious apartment. Has everything you need. Plenty of restaurants around and only a few min walk to the beach. Would definitely come back!

La literie, la terrasse, la vue, l'emplacement a quelques pas du parc national.

Aucun accueil tout s'est passé par téléphone. Impossible de cuisiner, manque de place, appartement petit et non fonctionnel. L'appartement est suffisant pour passer une nuit mais pas plus. Pas de supermarché sur l'île uniquement des très petites supérettes avec très peu de choix.

The Island of Mljet is good for a family vacation with kids or even dogs. There are a lot of things to do there like biking, hiking swimming and paddle boating. We were there middle of June and the prices were spiked up. Nevertheless the apartment where we stayed is nice. It has a great view from the balcony, it has everything that you need for 3 or more nights. Well air- conditioned and the place itself is located to the national park. Plus bonus is an allotted parking space for our car. You can get your national park ticket near the Roman ruins near Konoba Antika. Just tell the ticketing officer that you are staying at Polače and you can get the ticket for 25€ for your whole stay and get everyday to the national park. As mentioned, the island is too expensive to travel into since many yachts and private boats come there and dine. So it is most probably done for tourist who can really spend fortune for it. In summary it is a tourist spot for those who wants to enjoy 2- 3 days of national park alone other than you want to go to sandy beach in Suplanara (far east of the Island). The authentic Croatian culture or life experience is missing unless you drive to the middle part of it.

The sun umbrella was broken but we got a little one after informing the owner of our apartment. Be mindful that the Wifi in the island in generally is slow. Even our mobile data is sometimes weak.
