Very homey, yet with plenty of privacy as well. The hostess was lovely and welcoming, without being intrusive. We were only in town for a short stay, but it was great accommodation and we plan to return. Breakfast was lovely, and the homemade muffins were the best we have had in a very long time. Host also made recommendations for the area that were well received without being pushy. It is clear she loves the area and wants to welcome travelers to their slice of paradise, and we look forward to a return. We also didn't play a game of chess on their board by the fireplace, so we really have no choice but to come back.

N/A. The floors squeaked when we came in after a wedding (late) and we tried to not disturb other guests. But it's an older house and that's to be expected.

It was a nice stay although just for 24 hour. Bed was comfortable with Duvet and fairly new towels! I would recommend!

We had stayed here prior to the pandemic and enjoyed the lodge’s proximity to everything the area has to offer, the privacy of our room, the history showcased on the property, the reasonable pricing, the delicious breakfast and our lovely hosts. Returning after the space was renovated was a real treat. They had modern upgrades while maintaining the history, the room was exceptionally comfortable and there was a full functioning kitchen to cook in. We sat outside last night drinking wine in rockers on the covered porch and watching the deer grazing right in front of us.

Waking smell of coffee brewing and muffins baking, wonderful breakfast offerings Inn keepers welcoming and helpful Carrie was keeper our two mornings there and was amazing. Warm and welcoming to everyone there.

This lodge is well laid out inside and the decor is perfect. The rooms are clean, updated, and well thought out. Best of all, the lodge manager, Carrie was amazing! She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and made a delicious breakfast. She was very accommodating, thoughtful, and makes the best cheesy eggs!
