The Old Mill Shepherds Hut

The homemade bread and fresh eggs were a beautiful little extra.

The only down side was the weather and no one can control that. But even in high winds and torrential rain the hut was cozy warm and comfortable.

Secluded and great for our dog. Enclosed so he could be left in safety whilst we enjoyed the hut.

The hut was beautifully presented, comfortable and had everything we needed. It had its own private, enclosed outside area which overlooked the river and we enjoyed using the firepit each evening to relax whilst the dog could explore. Linda was a fantastic host and we had the opportunity to use the main garden as well if we wished. We were located such that it was only a short drive to reach the moor for hikes, local towns for meals and we were able to easily drive to the Bude and Westwood Ho! for the beach. Would definitely return for another visit.
