"Nice stay, friendly and helpful staff."

9.0

The staff is super friendly and helpful with everything. There are a few spaces to chill and work remotely. Breakfast is generous and nice! Good location.

The rooms are a little tight to leave your bags but nothing dramatic.

"Nice two nights in a decent hostel with kind staff and a nice office for coworking."

9.0

I liked the common area, it was so calming and they had a shared library which was incredibly fun for me as I was able to relax for hours reading. The room was your average hostel room with a curtain, wifi, plug and AC. There were lockers for my belongings. free Breakfast is quite bare bones but gets the job done.

The location was quite busy but that’s unavoidable in Manila.

"This hostel has a lot of potential and offers great value and facilities for the area"

7.0

The location is definitely one of the best aspects — it’s close to restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, malls, and very easy to reach from the airport. For the Makati area, the price is also quite competitive, making it a good budget option. The hostel offers great common areas, including a rooftop, a kitchen, and a designated working station. The 8-bed dorm I stayed in was reasonably spacious and came with large lockers. The beds were comfortable, had curtains for privacy, and each had its own outlet and reading light, which I appreciated. Staff at the reception were kind, spoke fluent English, and provided genuinely helpful and constructive information during check-in and whenever I had questions. The building also has an elevator, which is a nice touch, especially when carrying bags to the upper floors.

There are a few things that really need improvement. The Wi-Fi works well in the common areas, but I had almost no signal from my bed and had to rely on mobile data most of the time. Also, while the working station is a great idea, it's often full, making it unreliable if you need a quiet place to work. My biggest issue was with the cleanliness, especially on the second floor where I stayed. The bathrooms and toilets were in poor condition — always wet and dirty, with doors that didn’t lock, bad ventilation, water clogging, small sinks, and areas showing signs of mould. The design seems to make it hard to keep clean, and I feel bad for the staff who have to deal with that. The dorm room itself was also neglected: during my stay, no one came to clean it. There was visible dust and dirt on the floor, particularly in the corners, and the AC was constantly leaking. The windows and doors were grimy, covered in a mix of dust and grease.
