Pelican Inn by Belvilla Aransas Pass, TX

The pictures shown on the listing are of one side of the hotel. The other halfs the trap. The employees are getting delegated dealing with angry customers by the owners when they arent the ones renting out this room. This guy found a technical loophole of expedias no refund option that he's using to rent out his worst rooms. Don't book here. Issues: -giant holes in walls covered 1/10th by tape painted white -2in gap under door. Door still somehow hard to open -"trim" was flooring haphazardly glued to wall that wasn't even the same as the actual floor. Also a lot of the "trim" was broken off. -fire alarm broken with wires hanging out - electrical outlets sparked if plugged into directly. Had to use surge protector - chunks missing from toilet cover - caulk everywhere but where it belongs. Mildew growing due to this. -drain spits back up dirty water with mildew mid day - paint overspray everywhere. Headboard, brass, even the bathtub was painted -mini fridge broken and door covered in rust so much that it looked like food was crusted to the door. - 2 light fixtures out I cleaned it my first night and realized most of its really bad repair work. Most of everythings stains from industrial glue, paint overspray, old equipment, bad sealing. This guys going to have to pay someone for quality work.

This place was totally wretched. Nowhere close to the beach, the carpet had massive holes and rips in it, there were cracks in the walls, the bed advertised was supposed to be king-size, but was clearly queen sized. This was supposed to be a surprise trip for me and my boyfriend, needless to say we were very disappointed. The bathtub had big splotches holes all over it. The toilet didn’t work don’t stay here!

Very quiet place tucked away from the main drag

The room I booked online was not available when I arrived, so I was offered a different room with only 2 beds and a pullout couch instread of the 3 beds. I was also told I would get a discount and since I had already payed they would refund me the discount. I still haven't received any refund. Its veen a week and nothing.

Building was in bad shape.. walls was nothing but patches.you could see outside from where the air conditioner was .. but it was clean

Reasonable rate for holiday weekend, however, Mold on wall where ac is, walls are dirty, light fixtures are unsafe, lamp falling apart, wall light a disaster waiting to happen. Shower had hair on the walls, bugs in shower, shower itself ready to fall through the floor, after two people showered , water came up through the flooring in the room and floor stayed wet all night. Had to use room towels to make a somewhat safe walkway to the bathroom. Called to report issue, response was, "OH IT'S JUST HUMIDITY IN THE ROOM"!!!! Unfortunately no other room available due to holiday weekend, booked through expedia so no options for a refund. Spoke with hotel concierge, asked for room to be cleaned and extra towels left so create a walking path for night 2. Owners/staff (?) Wlwere nice to deal with but this place should be condemed. Unsafe, unclean, dirt/dust on walls and the list goes on. Absolutely horrendous!!!!!!! Would be in the best interest for alll to shut the place down.

Was nice & clean except in bathtub. Lots of tiny pill bugs. There also wasn’t really any place to hang clothes we had on hangers. Overall, was nice & cold room (l like it cold).

Can’t say I liked anything. Paid $180 for one night for the three bed room that wasn’t clean, pulled all the sheets back to find hair all in them, hair in the sink, dust all over the counter, chair was all ripped up, there was excessive amounts of hand prints on the head boards like people were doing you know what, and the floors don’t get me started with how dirty those were. We threw the towel down on the ground after the shower and scooted next to the bed with it and the whole towel was yellow brown. The only good thing I can say is I asked the front to have someone change the sheets which he said they would. Came back from fishing and they did look cleaning until I pulled the sheet all the way back just to see hair at the feet again. The rate is just crazy for something I could’ve got nicer somewhere else. We planned a last minute trip to port Aransas and this one was one of the only few left available for that day. Won’t be back.

Great place, clean, quiet and has washers and drier. Staff very polite
