Staff are friendly. minimalist style but the room needs some decor. And I was told that no tooth brush and paste but was surprised to see there wasn't slipper!

Hospitality of the staff and a gentleman (whom I guess is the manager) at this hotel is amazing. The warmth and sincerity is just so different from luxury hotels in large cities. The hotel modern, relatively new and just 5 mins walk from Hualien train station (visible from the station exit) and close to many car rental agencies. Undoubtedly my top choice if I return to Hualien in future.
