We have rented this property since 2016 and have definitely noticed a steady decline in the upkeep and appearance of the property. We really love staying here but will have to look elsewhere if improvements are not made. The price appears to increase every year however there are no notable improvements (other than the stone decking area). When we first rented years ago (2016) it was nice and new and it was actually decorated for the holidays. The location is and great - short drive to downtown and an even shorter walk to the beach.

Here is a list of things we have noticed that need to be fixed or upgraded... The whole interior of the house needs a paint job - dings and dents all over The living room fan light was not working Propane grill does not get up to temp has been this way for two years now we had to replace the tank when we arrived for the last two years Cabinet door above microwave is coming off the hinges Stools at the breakfast island are coming apart - they need the screws tightened but it is a special tool to tighten The washing machine makes a horrible shaking noise and the pan underneath is not connected to the drain so if you have a leak you are going to have ceiling damage - the machine and dryer need to be serviced or replaced The carpets on the stairs and hallway have stains and need to be deep cleaned or replaced Upstairs guest bathroom sink keeps backing up and the shower drain is broken About ten days into the rental the master bath shower would not turn off and water was constantly running - we informed maintenance but they could get a plumber out to repair before we left Window sills and baseboards need to be cleaned The couch that sits up against the window sill appears to broken The pull out couch upstairs is broken and is extremely uncomfortable It appears the linens are the same for many years - one bed upstairs had human hair on the sheets when we arrived There are not enough towels and face clothes - especially when people are staying for two weeks Sorry to rag on but I thought the owner would like to know
