Tractor Shed

Great location. Loved the neighbourhood rabbits and ducks. Very friendly. Loved indoor and outdoor. Loved the decor on the walls and very tastefully placed. As soon as we entered your home we felt as we were on holiday at a special place. Plenty of space for us all. The children loved their upstairs large room.

Loved the location - great spot.

Despite the advert claiming that children under 18 were not counted as adults, we were charged an extra $380 to have 2 small children and 1 extra adult stay (which I had to negotiate down from $580) - the place advertises multiple beds and does not say they aren't included but suddenly there was an extra charge. The upstairs TV did not work. The dishwasher was full of other peoples dirty dishes. Considering the price it would have been nice to have some essentials like cooking oil etc included.

Warm and had everything we needed

The home was beautiful, spacious, well furnished and with almost every kitchen utensils we could have wanted to be fully self catering. Our children really loved the upstairs room and we delighted to discover a TV so they could watch a movie together, and games to play. Such a godsend as the weather was poor all weekend and there are not a lot of rainy day activities for children in Tekapo.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

The place was well equipped for cooking and a great location! Very unique experience.

Could have been cleaner a few little details were off putting. Not all beds in kids room were made up which meant I had to make a bed because of where my kids wanted to sleep. Upstairs kids area was great, a few more toys or Lego blocks would have been a great little addition to go the extra mile.

Highly recommend The Tractor Shed. Gorgeous place, clean, handy to everything, easy to deal with, amazing kitchen, lovely warm house, can’t say enough ❤️
