Meliti Waterfront Suites

On the positive side, the daily cleaning service was excellent and very convenient. It was also incredibly easy to contact the staff whenever we had a question or needed assistance.

However, there were a few negatives. The property is a complex of apartments with a shared pool that felt quite small and was situated between the terraces of the various apartments. The photos made it seem much more fashionable than it actually was in person. The apartments themselves were quite basic, especially the kitchen, which had limited amenities (e.g., not many plates, cutlery, etc.).

My experience with this place was very disappointing. First, I mistakenly booked the wrong location and contacted the property within less than 24 hours to cancel, but received no response for several days. Eventually, they refused to cancel - even though I acted promptly and in good faith. Out of no choice I changed my vaction destination. When I arrived, I was disappointed again the room did not include coffee/capsules, tea, sugar, or even a bottle of water, the shower was tiny. Additionally, the location was not what I expected - there is no accessible beach near the hotel, contrary to what the photos and description on the website suggest. The overall experience and value for money were very disappointing. I will not return, and I do not recommend this place.

great location, 20 min walk from Sammy, right on the ocean. amazing view from Lotos and Corali. excellent coffee/breakfast near the suites and a tavern. rooms get cleaned everyday and facilities in the rooms are new and helpful for families. great spot for groups and families.

a supermarket is missing in the area so a small bar option might be helpful

The location is great. There is a playground right next to it. The beach is just next to it and there are restaurants and coffee shops 1 minutes walk

Beautifully decorated apartment in a quiet and pleasant neighbourhood opposite the waterfront. Good cafe and restaurant very close by and also kids playground. The Melissani cave is a few mins walk away. The suites are very clean and at a high standard, there is a pool which is nice and the sea across from the apartment is stunningly clear with lots of fish and sponges. If you like to snorkel there are fresh water springs emerging from a cave just off the beach and it’s magical to snorkel there (but the spring water is cold!). It is about 15mins to Agia Efimia and 30mins to Myrtos beach. Also you can walk to Sami along the waterfront path. It’s a fabulous location and I would definitely stay here again. We had a one bedroom junior suite. Fantastic!

Very clean. Really comfortable. Easy walk to Sami and a good restaurant on the square if you don’t want to walk. You do need a car though to explore the island and beaches as the beaches near the apartments aren’t brilliant.

Lovely property close to Sami town, spacious, well equipped kitchen, and excellent value for money. Don't miss out on driving to Antisamos beach for sunrise!

We went during the first week of October which was towards the end of the season (things seem to shut around 15th October). We were told the usual manager of the property was away and so no one was able to help with recommendations for local food places.

The cleanliness of the apartment was phenomenal. Absolutely spotless. I think they should incorporate promotional videos into the advertising of the property. It was beautiful in photos but just incredible in person. Much larger than expected. Absolutely wonderful. So much storage. Plenty of seating. The toiletries provided were lovely. Hairdryer, washing machine. So much included. The bed in the main bedroom was huge... fit 3 of us comfortably. Balcony faced the sea. We rent apartments quite frequently when we travel and this one is up at the top for sure! Location was perfect for us. 5 minutes drive from a busier town so being in a quieter location was a nice break for us.

The children thought the sofa beds were uncomfortable. One of them slept in with us for the whole stay. Maybe some mattress toppers could help solve this. Wouldn't stop us returning though, the place is magnificent.

Amazing spot. Lots of room for a big family. Quick walk to town, and very close to great Taberna and the football turf!!
