The Waterside Rooms

Very nice and modern!

Own entrance under main house. Beautiful garden right by the water. Every convenience provided in a beautiful small apartment. Bed ultra comfortable. 2 TVs. Huge range of hot drinks. Lovely decor and range of interesting books. Huge freshly cooked breakfast.

The property is situated at the end of the country lane, and overlooks the water, we have never experienced such peace, calm and silence! The hosts, Judith and Eric were amazingly attentive, conversational and friendly, the breakfast was phenomenal, wonderfully locally sourced, meets and the black pudding was a particular hit !! The apartment had everything you could ever want for your stay, and we particularly enjoyed eating a takeaway in our living room area with a cold glass of sparkling, super relaxing!  We loved our stay so much, and hope to go back next year! Highly recommended! X

A perfect place to stay. Location is right by the side of the solway firth with great views and an array of local birds. The accommodation is of a very high standard and has everything you want. A separate bedroom, bathroom and living room. There is a great range of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and they even supply fresh milk daily. When you stay here you are the only guests which gives you the exclusivity and personal touch. Talking of the personal touch, as it was Easter some chocolate rabbits and eggs were left for us. We would definitely stay here again.
