Hotel Trierer Hof

Stayed here while in Koblenz. While it was a 20min stroll from the train station it was worth the walk as one could see many sights of Koblenz. The walk was flat along the footpaths. The hotel is situated in a handy area near the Schloss and Forum shopping complex. The staff were fantastic and offered an apartment for the three of us. Large bedroom and bathroom and as well the lounge area. Very neat and clean and serviced daily. As well the front desk is staffed 24hrs and also offer free coffee in the downstairs lounge area. Breakfast was great with fresh cooked scrambled eggs (not powdered) and coffee. There was a good selection of eats available to suit everybody. Seating overlooks the park opposite. Excellent for a few nights stay.

Metternich and Napoleon's sister slept here, says a plaque on the wall. Very central, one block away from the FORUM CONFLUENTES. Excellent breakfast. Clean. Good value. I didn't sleep well, and that is because of the pillow (too big, too soft). I would come back and bring my own.

We stayed only one night here traveling thru Germany. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were nice. The breakfast that was included was excellent. You pay to park nearby and it was convenient. No AC here if you visit in the summer.

The hotel is limited by its age, therefore no a/c and small rooms. This makes it hot at night and unfortunately the road outside is noisy, we tend to bring a fan with us so didn’t open the window. The stay was fine, the room clean and the staff very good

Nice hotel, friendly employees, but they don't have air conditioning. And because of that, you have to keep the windows open. Extremely bad part of that is that it is on a major street in the town and vehicle noise is atrocious. Even on a Sunday night cars were making noise until 2-3 in the morning, then the garbage trucks and morning traffic starts at 5 am. They provide ear plugs in the room, but even those only can do so much.

What an amazing hotel, check in was seamless and staff amazingly friendly, helpful and polite. We where in room 307, nice room comfy bed and a shower that pinned you to the wall ( good wake up call ) room was spotless and cleaned daily. Hotel is positioned in a great location, close too the Rhine and Mosal rivers, and old town. Plenty of places too eat and drink. Breakfast was lovely lots of gluten free, vegan and much more. Will be returning. Keep up the good work.

After a long layover in Detroit and a seven hour flight we arrived in Frankfurt early in the morning. We drove to Koblenz. By the time we arrived we were so tired we just picked the first hotel we saw. What a nice surprise! A great price with wifi, breakfast and parking. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It's a short walk to the pedestrian zone with many stores and restaurants.

We have been to Koblenz frequently on day trips and decided we would like to see the city at night. This hotel was perfect, I have never known such friendly and helpful staff. They could not do enough to help us, The hotel was spotlessly clean and we had a quiet room. Breakfast was excellent and I particularly enjoyed the fresh sweet pastries and breads.The only reason I did not award 5 was that we were in a small attic room and it was one of the hottest nights and there was no airconditioning. Any other time of the year it would be perfect.Location was unbeatable. We will return !

No air conditioning, but we opened the windows and used the fans provided in the closet. Traffic was very noisy, though, by morning. Large room was comfortable for the 4 of us. I liked that the sink was located in the bedroom and the shower and toilet were in another room. This facilitated 4 of us getting ready in the morning. Breakfast was great and the restaurant downstairs was excellent for dinner.
