Visby Strandby

Wonderful location. Literally 3 minutes from the sea and less than 10 minutes from the city walls. You are expected to clean-up upon leaving, but all products needed are there.

Despite the wonderful location, it could be noisy at some moments. Especially when noisy bikers get off the ferry and are headed north, since one of main these street passes just behind the last row of cabins. But apart from 5 minutes rushes from time to time, not a big deal.

The Location was nice not to far from Visby town but still required a little bit of a walk or even an uber ride.

The comfort of the cabin was not the best, mattresses were uncomfortable and we had ants in our cabin constantly could tell the reception knew about this before hand as ant traps were down

Everything was immaculate and worked well. Just as advertised and expected. Had a great time with 2 adults, 2 kids in our small cabin. Pier about a block away was a great place to swim with the locals.

Wish the bathrooms had not been quite so far away - a long drag in the middle of the night. And the tiny extra toilet near our cabin was locked two of the three nights. Also, wish there was even a tiny snack or basics for groceries nearby. The walk into town was considerable, esp in the wind and rain.

1. Bathroom in the cottage. 2. Not possible to safely have two windows open for ventilation at night, allowing fresh air to circulate while maintaining security.

Location. It’s right on the water.

Overall it was great. However compared to other places we stayed at in Sweden, this one was quite expensive for what we got
