Telegraph Hotel - Coventry

This was my second stay at the hotel and it is still as good as ever. The location is excellent being based in the city centre. Whilst it has no parking, there is a lot of choice less than five minutes away. Check-in went in well although the receptionist did give me a card for a room with a resident in already…quickly resolved though. The hotel is fascinating and well worth a little time exploring. The room was of a good size, well set out and the bed was very comfortable. We did ask for breakfast in the room but sadly my breakfast sign was not collected from our door. That said, breakfast in the restaurant was nice with a good choice. Also, the staff were very nice and helpful. All in all a very pleasant second stay and I would happily stay here again, which I probably will do.

We booked the telegraph hotel following our wedding in Coventry. We were having a small intimate wedding however the telegraph staff made this feel such a special occasion . We had booked Lord Iliffe Suite for us as newlyweds. We loved the glass ceiling in the restaurant so asked if could book for 35 people . This was accomplished with such ease. Food was amazing the restaurant and bar staff were lovely .The communication from the hotel with me as a bride made the whole process so easy . The staff were excellent great throughout our stay . Our suite was amazing I will certainly be booking again when i come home to Coventry

Nice hotel and rooms

Wedding event was on during our stay, we were not advised and the music was so loud it was vibrating in our room, ear plugs did not help and it went on far past midnight. No one answered calls to reception and we were not advised of the event on arrival. No opportunity to move rooms as no one was around to answer our calls.
