Location was amazing, everything that we needed was in the flat.

Single beds were a bit uncomfortable

Great location, ten minutes walk to Main Street. Off-road parking for car. Lovely warm flat, very well equipped with everything we needed.

The property itself was OK. It is not far from the “downtown” area of St. Andrew’s, located in a modest residential area. The flat was clean and comfortable enough, furnishings and decor probably could have used an update. The television connections weren’t working - modem/router might have needed rebooting, but we didn’t feel we should fiddle with devices we weren’t familiar with.

We had a less than ideal experience with the property managers: Upon arrival at the property, managed by Short Stay St. Andrew’s, we were not able to open the lockbox to access the key to the flat. We phoned the property contact number and received a recorded message that the office had closed at 5 pm. When offered a menu option for guests with “emergencies,” we encountered another recorded message and left a voice mail explaining our situation. Having no idea when or if we would hear back from the property, we chose to find another accommodation for the night. An hour and a half after leaving our message, we did hear back from the property. They offered to send somebody out that evening, but we had already checked into our new accommodations. The next morning we met a representative who confirmed to the office that the lockbox was jammed. We felt that we were entitled at least to a refund for the evening we were unable to stay. The property first offered a discount on our next stay, but with help from booking.com, we have received a £100 refund, less than half the amount of a one-night stay at the flat.

Good location , clean , well equipped with thoughtful starter items like dishwasher tablets etc

Like everything in St Andrews , jolly expensive !

The front bedroom smelled quite musty
