"An average Hilton"

Positives: Staff on the desk are friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but comfortable. The hotel has a gym. Quick and easy access into Sandusky and the surrounding area. Negatives: In the 7 months in between my previous stays the hotel has visibly deteriorated. My room on the 4th floor had drink spills all over the A/C unit, the laminate covering of furniture had started to peel and warp and there was a distinct smell of ‘drains’ coming from the bathroom. The breakfast is the poorest I have experienced in my global business travels. The equipment in the gym is showing signs of age and damage. Overall a disappointing stay and not what I would expect from Hilton.
