Hilton Garden Inn Redmond Seattle

Let me start with the good - the hotel is well located and pretty new. The common areas are pleasant enough and the room I had was pretty large. On paper this hotel should be the perfect place for a business trip. But unfortunately it was let down by a number of smaller things. Whilst the front desk staff were great, friendly and welcoming, the bar was complete contrast. Firstly it was closed at 9pm. Some of my collegues arrived back from the office, shortly after 9, a couple of times and the bar was closed. And every eveining there was one person working the bar and restaurant, regardless of how many people were there. And if they (different people on different nights) moved any slower, time itself would have stopped. One evening, myself and my collegues waited over 15 minutes to get any service. We were at the point of leaving when we got served and then told almost immediatly that the bar was closing and we had to finish up. In addition to that my stay was for 6 nights and my rooms was fully serviced once in this time (not the every 2 days as they say). Also the shower was pretty poor, temperature control was tricky, and the shower head had 2 settings neither of which presented enough pressure or coverage. When I stay in a hotel I look forward to a shower with high pressure (even better if this can be controlled) but in this case it had one pressure and it was fairly weak. Finally, and it's a small thing, my electronic key didn't work at all. It worked for the elevator, and the fitness suite (which is pretty good in fairness) but not on my room. I got a physical key card from the front desk so not the end of the world but still a little annoying. In short whilst the hotel was well located, appointed, clean and warm, I found my stay let down by poor servicing. Its a area with lots of choice so next time I'll be chosing an alternative. Maybe it was an "off week" but this trip took enough shine off for me to not return...

Amazing customer service and a great location with lots of surrounding stores.

This is a nice hotel at a decent price point, rooms are very clean and nice, parking for a decent price ($16/night). I would never choose to stay in Redmond, but when I have to I pick this hotel

Great place to stay. Was a weekend getaway for our anniversary and we were able to walk to many different venues and eateries. They even had umbrellas for us to borrow since it was raining. Great place!

I'll spare you the details of how we ended up at the Hilton Garden Inn Redmond in a town of several other fine hotel chains from which to choose, but needless to say this was one worth going to TA and writing this review. All things you expect from a Hilton: modern and clean, excellent bedding, well-known hospitality services, natural toiletries products, quiet rooms, etc. But what set this property apart from all the rest is their superb front desk staff. Zach and Mark went out of their way to ensure that I was happy and comfortable from the moment I walked into the lobby. Stayed just for one night but definitely booking my next stay here for Christmas!
