Salt Lane Apartments

Proximity to town center is superb. The unit is stocked with everything I needed. As it's a corner unit, it was easy to open windows and create air flow during warm summer temps. The bed is very comfortable and there was plenty of room and storage for all my "stuff" (during a 9-day stay).

There is a pub directly across the street and as my stay coincided with an important football week, things didn't quiet down until the wee hours of the morning, which I think would not at all have been an issue if I hadn't needed the windows opened. I do think the circumstances were exceptional and likely don't reflect how things usually are.

Great flat, absolutely no issues, and host did meet and greet which was fun

The pub across was a bit busy as football was on, would recommend bringing earplugs if you’re an early/light sleeper.

We had a fantastic stay, this apartment was the perfect place to base ourselves for our wedding weekend, spotlessly clean, fully equipped, and amazing location. Can't recommend this place enough, we'll definately try to book it first for any future stays in Salisbury. Thank you Ray.

Nice apartment. Easily walkable into the city. Quiet even though it was opposite a pub (Monday-Wednesday) Carpark opposite but expensive but free overnight.

We thought it was a bit overpriced for 2 nights. Dog £15 a night extra. Comfortable but generic. Carpark opposite only 3hrs stay and expensive except free overnight until 8am. We found another all day carpark behind the police station.

The apartment was absolutely spotless and very well equipped. Very central to the town centre and all amenities. Parking was not a problem as Salt Lane car park is directly opposite the apartment and on advice from Ray who met us on arrival we downloaded the MiParking app and was able to pay for any extra parking in the morning from the comfort of my bed! Very peaceful after pub closing time at night. We were accompanied by our little dog and there were open grassy spaces for walking her at the top of the road.

A bit concerned that there were no fire regulations, instructions or equipment as the only exit from the apartment is down stairs to street level or from first floor windows. Pub opposite noisy late on Friday and Saturday evening although we couldn’t hear much noise from inside the pub, underneath our bedroom window was a favourite place for customers to enjoy a cigarette or a chat. Once closing time came it was very quiet considering we were so close to the centre of a busy city.

Ray the host very kindly let us keep our bags in the office downstairs whilst our room was being made up - its quite a late check in at 4:00 pm Apartment was immaculate, very well maintained and well furnished. there were even bathrobes available for use. Kitchen was extremely well equipped, water and milk in the fridge on arrival, complimentary coffee and tea, dishwasing essentials. Fantastic location is excellent - everything is within an easy walk, there is a car park right opposite if you need it and only a few mintues walk into the main part of town for shops and Cathedra . Apartment is right near a Tescos for all your essentials.

This is tricky as its directly opposite a pub, which was noisy with folks chatting outside on the Saturday night there was no loud music so it didnt bother us however, we knew that before we booked so cant complain

Clean, tidy, well equipped with some nice touches like great bedding, bathrobes, complete kitchen. A great location.
