Penzion Astra

I stayed for one night. The room was big, air-conditioned and clean (except for the ceiling ventilator in the bathroom, which was very dusty). Bed was incredibly comfy and nice. The garden area was very beautiful, and the breakfast was great and partly cooked for you for your taste.

As I said, the ceiling ventilator in the bathroom was very dusty, so that's a little minus for the cleanliness. The location was also a bit far from the train station (about 25 min walk). Although there are public transportation, if you want to use those.

This is a lovely quiet hotel in a perfect area. The staff were so kind and friendly and the breakfast was amazing. will definitely stay here again.

Pension clean and helpful staff.Too bad it's not in a better city and then it would be excellent.

The guest house was great, unfortunately the town was a disaster and we would never go back. Anyone who has tried real spas such as Karlovy Vary and Franškovi Lázně will agree.The era of communism is felt everywhere. Buildings in disrepair, famous Vah river bridge in bad condition with dirty glass. Concrete and asphalt everywhere. Village level services. There is only one building that is quite well maintained, namely the Irma hotel. I can't say anything else nice about this city.

Nice, good location

owners are apparently usually not communicating the final price of your stay, so we paid 40e/night for two dogs extra which they didn’t mention upon arrival and were not willing to negotiate it afterwards.

Stunning stay at the Penzion Astra - our first but certainly not our last. Super accommodation with our room overlooking the garden. The balcony gave us a space to enjoy the peace and calm of the beautiful surroundings.

There was nothing about Astra to dislike.
