Das unkomplizierte Ein/Ausschecken. Das der Hund nichts extra gekostet hat. Der Kaffee in der Bar. Zu empfehlen ist eine kleine Bar am Wasser unten am Segelhafen. Fußläufig 10 Minuten vom Hotel. Dort gibt es leckere Snacks und Getränke.

Das Hotel liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße das an ein Industriegebiet erinnert. Die Anlage ist nicht so gepflegt (Garten & Hotelgebäude). In Dormeletto gibt es ein paar Einkaufsläden (Drogerie, Einzelhandel, Pizzeria, Eis) aber nichts zum flanieren auch alles an der Hauptstraße gelegen. Der nächste größere Ort ist Arona aber nicht fußläufig erreichbar. Man sollte wissen das das enthaltene Frühstück ein Italienisches Frühstück ist (Kaffee & Croissant).
