Die Lage des Appartments in der Innenstadt von Heraklion ist hervorragend!!! Zu den Museen, zum Hafen, zur Fußgängerzone waren es nur wenige Schritte. Ein Supermarkt liegt direkt ein paar Häuser weiter in der selben Straße. Und ein sehr nettes Restaurant mit leckerer griechischer Küche ist direkt in der Nachbarstraße. Das Appartment ist geräumig und freundlich eingerichtet. Das WLAN sehr gut. Das Vermieter-Ehepaar war super-nett und per Telefon sofort erreichbar. Maria spricht perfekt deutsch.

Mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten könnte man die Bequemlichkeit noch optimieren (z.B. Garderobe für Jacken, Mantel, Kofferbank, Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad). Die Regel, im Bad gebrauchtes Toilettenpapier in einem Eimer zu entsorgen, ist für Deutsche Touristen gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Standort und Ausstattung klasse. Hafen in Sichtweite und das Leben direkt um die Ecke. Das ist nicht sofort ersichtlich, aber raus und links, dann ca. 100 Meter und nochmal links. Dort ist such und besonders das Nachtleben das man auch im Oktober noch genießen kann.

Schwer zu finden und keine Parkmöglichkeit.

Das Hinkommen ist etwas schwierig. On der Nähe gibt es zwar viele Parkhäuser, aber nicht ganz einfach hinzukommen.

Very close to the town and the ferry

The host always responded to our questions quickly. The host kindly had treats for us in the kitchen for our arrival. This apartment is in a good location within walking distance to the Heraklion Museum, a grocery store, shopping, the harbor, and the port where we parked our rental car. There is a parking garage closer to the apartment, but they turned us away when they learned we were not staying at a hotel. The apartment is very spacious. The decor is eclectic, and everything was functional. We were in the Apartment with a Sea View which has a tub with a handheld showerhead. There is no overhead shower if you are accustomed to that. It worked for our family, but it is good to know what to expect. This particular apartment also had a washer which was great if you needed to do laundry.
