One World Village Guesthouse

We booked the standard room for 2. We would be sleeping in Room 7, which was a rather unpleasant looking building behind the main building. Next to the building was an improvised gym where they were painting their dumbbels, which led to an annoying chemical smell. There was no curtain for the bathroom window, so from this improvised gym you could look into the bathroom. Room was definitely not clean, there were a lot of spiders in the room. A lot of the mentioned facilities we’re not available in the room. There were fleas in the tablecloth on the table just outside the room. The worst was yet to come, suddenly we found a cockroach in the bedroom. When confronting Mustafa and the staff, they apparently found this amusing. They were very impolite, did not even apologize and were more concerned about the lost revenue. Would not recommend to stay here, unless you like to sleep with cockroaches.

Improvement could be made by improving the broken fan in the upper room, cleaning out the dusty musquito net and offer a little more oppurtunities of having breakfast earlier than 9 AM.

Big room and a small swimming pool.

Bakao is a lonely place.

The location is very close to the beach and situated in a quiet area, where you can still find everything in the near surrounding (shops, bars, restaurants, markets)
