Apartment in villa, big garden, private pool, close to beach and Zadar town

Major complaint out through to booking.com due to unhygienic conditions and a threatening host. I will not stop until justice is served on this booking baring in mind I’ve worked at the highest standards of hospitality for the last 12+ years. Other people’s clothes in the wardrobes, stuff that resembled animal stools. Hair, grime and dirt. Even to the extent as dirt on a ‘clean’ toilet paper roll, the host agreed to allow people to sit then shortly changed her stance and went on to threaten with police and lie to the provider which I provided evidence for all of this. Please until this is resolved avoid this place at all costs.

Briefly about the living conditions: dark, like in a basement, very weak internet, and no hot water, terrible network. Unkempt garden, no mention of paid parking (20 euros per day). Dirty water in the pool, uncomfortable beds, general mess around the house. Shame on the turtles and cat that live there. But these are all trifles compared to how vile and ill-mannered the owner of the house turned out to be. Arriving at our destination, we were told to wait at the gate, where they would approach us and invite us inside, and not to break into the territory. The hostess came and immediately started shouting at us. She behaved rudely, as if she was the one who should pay us, not us. There was no question of any hospitality. She constantly praised Russia. Constantly violated our personal space. Zadar is a very beautiful city. Do not choose this accommodation under any circumstances.

Brud i smród. Moje dzieci dostały wszy od spania na starej i brudnej pościeli! Wszystko z lat 80- 90 ( pościel też). Łóżka okropne i niewygodne. Jedno się zapadało, drugie się rozpadało, a trzecie było krzywe, także nie wysypialiśmy się. Pościel musiała nie być prana, ponieważ dzieci dostaly wszy! Sprzęty w mieszkaniu brudne i stare, patelnia nie do użycia, a dzbanek do wody miał grubą warstwę kamienia. W łazience brudno, wszędzie grzyb. Część ogrodu, z której można korzystać, to właściwie przejście wokół domu. Zagracone i brudne. Pełno jest rozbitych doniczek, śmieci i zdechĺych żółwi! Komplety wypoczynkowe dla gości, tak jak reszta sprzętów, stara i zaniedbana. Tragedia. Właścicielka bardzo niesympatyczna. Dodatkowo właścicielka pobiera opłaty za rzeczy, które miały być wliczone w cenę pobytu. Nie wystawia rachunków fiskalnych , nie ma możliwości zapłaty przelewem, tylko gotówka, także jest to nielegalne. Nigdy tam nie wrócimy i nikomu nie polecimy tego miejsca.

Az elhelyezkedés nagyon jó. Közel a strand, amin még zuhanyzó is van, bár nem mindegyik működik. Kiváló éttermek séta távban. Buszmegálló is pár percre.

A szállást '96-ban rendezték be, és szerelték fel, és sajnos azóta sem cseréltek ki benne semmit. Így az évek alatt elkoptak, ehasználódtak. Mind a berendezés, mind a kiegészítők. Kényelmetlen elhasznált, besüppedő matracok, szakadt törölköző, kopott ágynemű, vízköves berendezések...

The location was pretty good. Short walk to the beach (although if you want to go to a sandy beach, it will be a 15-20 minute walk). Shops and pharmacy are nearby, as well as some restaurants which are mainly concentrated around the marina.

Where to start... I really wanted to like this place, and gave plenty of benefit of the doubt, but it was hands down the worst place I have ever stayed while on holidays. - Big shutters on the windows of the apartment, and is very dark to the point of needing the lights to be on at all times, even during the day. - The washing machine doesn't work. No hot water in the shower or ice cube tray - The beds were both sofa beds. The double bed has a dip in the centre so you're always rolling into each other. - The shower head was covered in what appeared to be pubes? Could have been fibres of some other kind, but I don't think so... - We were charged 10 euro a day to use the air conditioning. As it was 30+ degrees, we had the aircon on a lot. At one point, the host entered the apartment during the day while one of the other guests was sleeping to turn it off. A gross invasion of privacy and, I'm pretty sure, not allowed. - The aircon was located in the living room, not the bedroom, and the bedroom was very hot at night despite the aircon. We asked for a fan, and were told no (and that if we needed anything else eg hairdryer, NOT to ask as there were none available). This is despite a fan clearly being in the photos of the living room! The host just told us to keep the door open at night to let a breeze in as it was "not that hot". - The pool is NOT a private pool! The apartment is part of a family home, and the pool was in pretty much constant use by them. I went to sit at it on the first day and it was pretty clear I wasn't welcome- was hinted strongly I should go to the beach instead... Also only 3 sunbeds, so there is pretty much no personal space if the host/ family are around. - The place is overrun with mosquitoes. Also a strong smell of urine outside the door one of the evenings- from the cat? - Overall unfriendly, unhelpful and unwelcoming atmosphere. We stayed there as little as possible.
