The location was perfect to explore the ancient town of Matera. Our host Giovann (Giovanni?) was especially kind, gracious, and helpful with excellent recommendations. He was also very helpful in telling us how to easily bring the car into the restricted zone of the old town to facilitate loading our bags after checking out.

Good location, very close to the railway station. Walking distance from the old town and the city centre. Clean and modernly furnished room.

We missed glasses and a corkscrew to open the wine we bought :)

We have been warmly welcomed and received very good tips for where to have drinks and eat. The public parking is close and easy to access the hotel. The bedrooms were clean and spacious.
