It’s in a very crowded area , big buildings amazing location

This is not the Oakwood I used to know. I was a regular visitor to Oakwood Residence at Bkk Soi 24. It was a proper boutique hotel with coffee house and diner. This one at PIK is actually a leased apartment from Gold Coast service apartments, there’s no coffee house nor diner, not even a prominent signage to guide taxi in. The room is small and safe didn’t work & Aircon controller didn’t work when we checked in. Housekeeping ‘closed’ at 4pm!

Good location at the center of PIK. Across the road is some wet market and various shop houses and food court serving variety of local Chinese food. Places of attraction are within 5-10 minutes by taxi. Hotel staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Complete with washing machine, refrigerator, induction cooker, ironing utilities, hair dryer etc. The rooms are clean and in general are well maintained except for some stated below. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Minimart downstairs also came in useful when we need to buy things. Gym and indoor / outdoor pool facilities are good.

However, we found the master bathroom shower holder loose, living room air condition were dripping water (quickly resolved). The wash basin in the master bathroom was a little bit slow to drain.
