This property was very clean, tidy and looked lovely. It had pretty much everything we needed for the nights stay and each bedroom had its own ensuite which was amazing. It is pretty close to town and you could walk if you wanted to but we drove as the hill home is steep. Beds were lovely and cosy which was great after a day of travelling.

Nothing to not like and even if you were staying longer than a night it would be fine.

Comfortable spacious accommodation with great views over Tekapo and a lovely big kitchen area.

Discovered that the bedroom drawers were filthy, including human hair. Yukk. They obviously don't get cleaned. There were no instructions about putting out the waste bins. When we arrived the general waste bin and recycling bin were full to overflowing and the area outside the front was therefore very smelly. We looked up the collection timetable and put the general waste bin out. However, it still stank after collection because it was clear that previous guests had put in loose waste which was still stuck in the bin. Not the fault of the property, but clear instructions to guests might help with this. There wasn't a coffee plunger, which we would expect as standard. All the above were a surprise given the price.

Large space for a family, good location

Poor attention to detail. Dishwasher hadn’t been emptied, no tea towel in kitchen and we found an electric blanket that must have been left on from last visitors. Rug didn’t appear to have been vacuumed as it had several strands of hair on it. Expect better for the price.

Everything ! Beautiful well appointed house in Lake Tekapo.

The location was great! Really like how it was new and fresh.

I thought it was a little pricey for the one night stay.
