Very nice Japanese style lodging, fully equipped with everything one needs for a short stay. Sufficient space n beds n futons for even 3 families.

Pots in kitchen not in very good condition.

Beautiful home! Plenty of space, updated appliances, two toilets, nice shower, and laundry. Has everything you need for a great and comfortable stay. Check in process was super easy and communication with the host was great.

A little bit of a walk from public transportation. If you’re using it as a home base for exploring without a car, location may be out of the way.

We (4 people) stayed here to have a weekend in Kumano and go to Maruyama Senmaida (Rice terraces). The house is fully equipped, very spacious and beautiful. We had breakfast in the garden and enjoyed the great location (we had a car to reach everything, but there should be some supermarkets that can be accessed by foot as well). The staff is friendly and fast to reply to questions. Great service and facilities!

Everything! The space, the garden outside and how well cured it is, the cleanliness etc. You have everything you need in the house and more. We really appreciated the multiple sinks and two toilets since we were in 4. I wish we had allowed more time in our road trip to stay for more days. We were pleasantly surprised by the small town also and hope to be back in the region!

Washing machine is modified so guests need to pay extra for using the drying function, while clothes drying rack provided is too small, could be a challenge for guests staying for more than a couple days esp. in winter
