Lexington Inn

I've got to tell you, I was REALLY surprised at how much better our stay at The Lexington Inn was this time around. Last time I stayed there, it was REALLY bad. This time...clean, comfortable, wonderful check in...everything was great. It was clean, no bed bugs...we were happy.

This is a motel. I’m a mid 20’s male, was not worried about my safety but would not want my wife to stay here alone. Room was clean enough for $50.

If ur ok with run down go ahead. But there are no safety door latches everything Is run down .

There was confusion about the rate for staying, partially my fault because I had to remake the reservation and there was one adult plus three children in the room rather than two adults. I also was unable to redeem my free night. The woman when I checked in said basically she couldn't do anything because of the way the reservation read. We left the next day for another hotel and I still had to pay the extra money. I'll probably stay at the Lexington Inn again because it's a good place. But this was not fun.

This hotel was awful, and our experiences there were horrific. Where to begin? The room was just terrible. The room had no light bulbs in any of the dirty fixtures, except for the one light bulb that was in the ceiling fan, and it should have had three. The tub would hardly drain, and by the time you were done having a shower, I was standing in four inches of water. The toilet wasn't bolted to the floor! Whenever I would use the toilet, it would move all over the place. The refrigerator had rotten milk in it that had been left in it for who knows how long from previous guests. When I took my concerns to the management, they informed me that these things would be repaired AFTER we checked out! And this was just the start...when we originally booked, there was going to be 4 people in our party, but two of them decided to stay elsewhere. I informed the front desk there would be only two of us in the room. On the day that we left, our friends come over to our hotel to join us, as we were travelling together. Upon checkout, the woman that was working the front desk repeatedly called me a liar to my face, saying that we had extra guests in our room!!! AWFUL!!! Just awful. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Please...avaid this place at all costs, because they obviously don't care at all about their guests.

Over the years we've found that a hometown visit can go better in an econo-motel is better than crashing with relatives. The Lexington Inn is certainly no frills. But the bed is very comfortable and there is lots of room. There are plenty of channels on the TV, the refrigerator and microwave work, the ice machine is always full, it's quiet and it's clean. What more could you want for $50? I've paid a lot more for a lot less. Highly recommended.

The picture above is not The Lexington Inn - this place is a tiny, one story dump!!!! The condition of the motel is very poor (walls need paint; mattress was cheap and uncomfortable; pillows were even worse; carpet felt grimy and dirty; room had stale smell - AC was not on when I arrived and might not have been on for days. This probably contributed to the stale odor; They had coffee (only) in the office in the morning, but no sugar so couldn't drink it. This was my worst hotel/motel experience and I definitely do not recommend The Lexington Inn.

Checked in after favorable reviews on Trip Advisor. Big mistake not looking first at the room. Somebody has to take last place in hotel quality and, for me, this is it. The worst I have ever stayed in. First, the good. Bed was comfortable enough to get a decent nights sleep. Could park the car at the door of the room so didn't have to carry luggage far. Ice machine worked. Beautiful Beech Lake across road. $52.00/night. Now the rest. Curtain wouldn't close and we had to use a chip clip to keep it closed (torn at the top). Lampshade next to bed was so old that the plastic liner was delaminating. Two TVs in the room. Don't know which one worked but both were old monsters. Pillows were unusable due to utter filth. Gross stains on rug by vanity sink. Don't know what it was, but had the color of old blood. Spiders in the corners and a live beetle in the bathroom when we arrived. Hand prints on wall next to bed. Some sort of solid substance on toilet side and front. Not sure what it was but it was dark brown and it doesn't take much to guess what it probably was. No one in office when we tried to check in and had a note to call or go across the street to the EconoLodge. Same owners, I believe, as the phone in the room was from an EconoLodge.

After, I stayed in town for 3 days. I rented a room at this place for one night and I didn't regret it. The Motel has very cheap prices than others in town. Clean rooms, friendly front desk clark. I would love to rent a room at this motel, next time I come to Lexington, TN

This is a wonderful place to stay. You have a fridge & mcrowave in your room. A love seat to sit on while watching TV . It is spotless and has very homey decor. The king size bed has a pillow top which gives you a very restfull sleep. You park in front of your motel room so it is very easy to unload luggage. No stairs to deal with because The Inn is all on one level. No pool, hot tub or a hair dyer but for the price these items are not essential to have here. Two parking lots down from The Inn(within walking distance) is an excellent restaurant called Grecian Family Restaurant On Friday Night the Seafood Buffet was abundant and delicious. Recommend this Inn highly! A VERY FREQUENT WEEKEND HARLEY TRAVELER
