Huset var ikke velegnet til 8 personer, da to af værelserne var ensuite, dvs. at gæsterne i et værelse skulle igennem et andet værelse for at komme ud og ind. Alle 6 sovepladser/3 værelser ovenpå havde meget lavt til loftet og vi var høje mennesker.

-amazing location right next to Svartafossur waterfall - you can go through the nature park with a river and bridges on the 20-30 minute walk to the town center -view from the windows feels like you are really out in nature -private outdoor patio area with seating -comfortable beds -washer, dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, electric kettle, stove, pots/pans, dishes, microwave, soap/shampoo, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent - everything you need for a short or long stay -comfortable beds -room with the larger bed had a blackout shade, which was very nice in the summer -lots of space downstairs for sitting, eating, reading, etc. -great airflow if windows are opened -dedicated off street parking -grocery store a few minutes' walk down the street -host was flexible after our Icelandair flight in was diverted (and we were lucky the house happened to be vacant the day after our scheduled departure)

-shower was maybe not the most convenient (small, curtain setup means water gets on the floor, but a squeegee is provided) but the flow and temperature are good -I would definitely stay again despite the shower - that was the ONLY possible negative thing I could think of

It was such a lovely location, connected with walking paths everywhere and right next to a beautiful waterfall. The kitchen and living room were very comfortable for the 7 of us. It's a quirky place, it really grew on us.

It's a quirky house, and it's hard to tell some of the layout and quirks from the photos. There are two different upstairs areas with two different narrow staircases- 3 of the 4 bedrooms are upstairs - and all have very low ceilings. One bathroom on the main floor has a shower, toilet, sink, and the washing machine and drier. There is a separate room with just a shower in it also on the main floor. Then in one of the upstairs areas there is another toilet and sink. Just good to be aware because if you had any mobility issues, this house would be very difficult!

The perfect home base for our Faroe Islands adventure. It's right next to the waterfall and lots of paths around the area to get outside. The house had everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable. If you are tall, the upstairs rooms can be a little short, but overall, it's a great place. We highly recommend.

Very clear communication but also quite hands off. All directions were clear and space was perfect for our needs
