The Hitching Post Hotel and Farm Store

Exactly what you would hope from this type of a hotel at that part of the country. An excellent stop on our road trips. The dogs were welcomed and that’s always a plus.

The owner was super helpful with insider tips for the area. She shared a bunch of places to see and things to do. Really close to the canyon and nice area.

Rustic

Sherry gave us a warm greeting and gave some great recommendations about things to see nearby. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. My only knock (a small one) would be the noisy AC. Overall, everything met our needs just fine. I’d recommend to others.

Cherri was an excellent host. The room was super clean and provided excellent value. Obviously not fancy but a perfect base for exploring the Black canyon and grand Mesa.

Owner was welcoming and provided great recommendations. Very close to north side of Black Canyon. Rooms were simple but nice and comfortable. Close to other towns with more restaurants and stores.
