My's Homestay

I’m traveling around the globe for 5 years now, and this was my favorite place so far! The view its out of this world, the host its the sweetest, the little girls made me smile every day, the kindes of the people around too, you really feel at home and was a reset for me, great for having a great time in the nature and connect with peace. I hope to come back here in the next years, i kinda want to cry hah I didn’t want to go from here. Thanks so much for everything!

Leaving was the only sad part

I must say this must be our fav. place we stayed at in Vietnam. My and her family are absolutely adorable and you truly feel part of her family during the homestay. It’s about 30 minutes out of busy Sa Pa and highly recommend choosing to stay with My and doing the trekking from her homestay. This means you’re already well out of Sa Pa and truly see the villages, ricefields and all that you’ve come here for. The homestay itself is basic but clean, homely and the views are out of this world. Above that Mu went above and beyond supporting us with translations for our driver, making us delicious breakfasts and dinners and when she only had one scooter left for that day organised another scooter for us within 10 minutes. This is a must stay in Sa Pa and Vietnam!

Absolutely amazing homestay with a wonderful family and incredible views. Zu and her family are so welcoming and helpful. Food is delicious and cheap too! Will definitely return if we’re back in Sapa!

Nothing!

The location is nice. Good view from the private rooms. Staff is extremely friendly. unfortunately the weather was pretty gloomy.

1. The price of homestay seems super cheap because the charge for food is extremely high. I paid more for dinner there than in main Sapa city. it's kind of like the middle of nowhere and if you really want to go out for dinner you have to walk 1.5km towards a bigger Village area and still won't find good food. you would end up spending like 2x the normal price homestay there because of extremely costly food since you don't have many options to eat out. 2. The guided tour also I found costly with 30$ per person for one day although that could be standard so I can't complain. 3. The food portion served is too small so you might end up still hungry. 4. I tried to do a tour myself but was not given much information mainly due to the big language barrier. 5. The room was clean enough but still has some strange smell 6. The location is quite far from Sapa center around 15km, so the money you save will be spent on taxi which cost me around 250k VND. 7. The food is alright sometimes but sometimes really sub par. I asked for authentic Vietnamese coffee but got instant coffee full of water and it cost 20k. Overall, super kind people but it's just business and I think it's not worth the price you pay. There are better options just 6-7km from the city center, consider them first.

My's Homestay gave us an unforgettable experience with a breathtaking view of the rice fields. The food was delicious, and the trekking tour with their amazing guide was a highlight of our stay. The location, nestled in the heart of nature, was perfect for relaxation. However, keep in mind that having a scooter is necessary if you need services. Overall, highly recommended for those seeking an authentic homestay experience in Sapa.

Lovely family who run a home in a village which make you feel so comfortable, I liked my stay here and I will come back once again.

Amazing location and view, very good food and clean rooms. The trek was amazing, lovely guide and very interesting

Most rooms do not have a balcony as advertised and are instead at the back of the main building, with windows facing the shared area not a view. Would recommend spending the extra money on the suites with a view as they looked incredible!

Mys Homestay is run by the most lovely family about 10km out of Sapa. They were beyond accomodating and helpful and made the stay enjoyable and comfortable. They offered a range of activities and suggestions of what to do in Sapa and nearby, plus had a restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner (best spring rolls I have even eaten). I cannot recommend this stay enough, whether you want to do adventure activities or simply relax and unwind. Only thing to note is grab doesn’t operate in Sapa, so you will need a taxi/ bike taxi to reach (easy to plan from either the hosts or in Sapa)

The structure is beautiful and the family owning the accommodation is amazing ! Rooms were super and services cheap and easy to arrange
