Casa nawal is overall an amazing experience, would highly recommend!

We booked here last minute, because of a last minute cancellation at our original place. I understand that this place caters to young travelers that are interested in the Tulum party atmosphere, but the people at reception were so rude. Barely made eye contact… we spent over an hour in traffic and the welcome was anything but warm. Also, the door had a sign on it that said masks required, but none of the staff wore masks and one of the girls was coughing TERRIBLY. The beach club was crowded with foreigners in string bikinis, or without a top at all. We were shown to our tent, which was without a bathroom and had mouse poop on the bed. Considering we paid more than $300, we expected more. Music from the beach bar was so loud, until past 11pm. Would never stay here again.

I loved the beach most as I was here for a yoga retreat in La Valeta … and could come back to swim and relax after a long practice. The people working there were caring and helpful, i really appreciate them. I loved waking to the sunrise and sunset beach walks. Most of the nights I slept outside if it was not raining. The restaurant food was healthy. The live music was great and i participated in the other events like more yoga with a view of the water and ekstatik dance! My only wish was that my tent had windows … so I barely spent any time in there except to store my things. It’s so beautiful everywhere else I didn’t need it much.

Casa Nawal is an excellent place to stay if you like camping style, glamping. The property is located on the beach and is set up to relax and unwind, connect to nature, enjoy the beach . Located close to city but secluded in the jungle setting. This was my first glamping experience and loved everything about this place. The place is clean at all times.

Excellent stay! Loved the accommodations. Great location and amazing beach. Loved the restaurant onsite and the surrounding restaurants. The restaurant staff were amazing! The only issue we encountered was that we accidently spilled wine on the bed sheet and they charged us to replace the sheet. Just seemed a little frugal after we spent a lot of money at the resort between yoga, food, and the artist shops.

The hotel was very clean and right against the ocean. It was nice to wake up and fall asleep to the sound of waves. My luxury tent was beautiful with an ocean view. They do allow use of air con and fans / electric all day as a new policy which was lovely in the heat. My only qualm was checking it, since it is tucked back and I'm guessing a secondary property with another it is tricky to find. It would be nice in the communications prior to check in what to tell a taxi because I ended up walking very far and still didn't find the main lobby. The hotel next door also played VERY loud music until late late into the evening which was a damper since it was suppose to be a quiet zone compared to the busier party hotel zone. Price was okay, still quite expensive but relatively cheap compared to other options (again air con was a plus), beds were comfy - I just wish there were some more amenities for the cost - like breakfast, WIFI, or even a pool. It's Tulum, expect to pay a high premium for anything.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The friendliest and most helpful I've ever encountered. Praise to Paz, she's a life saver. The scenery was beautiful right on the beach.
