Die Lodge wurde 1862 gebaut und liebevoll renoviert und dekoriert. Ein warmes Willkommen von Juan und Erzählungen über das Haus waren sehr informativ.

Die Einfahrt zum Haus könnte abends etwas besser zu finden sein

A beautiful location, with wonderful gardens. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The house was beautiful. The continental breakfast was set in a way that it made you feel at home.

"Relaxing stay in old world charm"

Lovely old world charming building and property, presented as such by charming Juen and her daughter.

Sadly the only downside to the overall charm was the occasional loud traffic from the nearby highway.

"Wonderful B&B with great character"

If you are in the area, then make sure you stay at Paheke Lodge. It's a wonderful heritage property with loads of character and a beautiful garden. The owners are really helpful and friendly, and provide a fabulous freshly made healthy breakfast. The stewed plums, picked from the garden, are just amazing. You won't regret staying here.

"Lovely heritage bed and breakfast accommodation."

We stayed in the balcony room which was light filled and spacious. Well presented and spotlessly clean. Good selection of teas and coffees to have in the room. Lovely continental breakfast of cereal, lots of fresh fruit , yoghurt and toast with preserves. Juen was friendly and welcoming and had some good local knowledge about points of interest and places to eat.

No places close by for evening meal. Needed to go to Paihia or KeriKeri around 25 minutes away.

"Fabulous Guest House"

Brilliant guest house in a beautiful setting. Juen was great and made us very welcome. Great and healthy breakfast too.
