We had a very good stay at this hotel in Bern. Our rooms were clean and inviting. Normal for Moxy hotels, there was no closet or clothes iron in the room. Despite being next to a train station, we barely heard any noise as the windows were very soundproof. The lobby area doubled as a bar that had plenty of space to sit and relax. There was a nostalgic NES system in the lobby too to play classic Nintendo games. All the staff we encountered at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was located adjacent to a train station, and we were told at check-in that there are frequent trains to central Bern and we could get free passes. We did not take the trains though as we had a car and parked in the underground lot. The lot was connected to the hotel via the elevator. However, the lot was not owned by the hotel and we had to pay every time we entered or exited. We stayed here over the weekend and the area was very quiet. We noticed many of the nearby restaurants were not open. The area did get much busier on Monday morning as commuters were coming to work in the adjacent offices. There was a small Coop supermarket in the hotel’s building that was very convenient when it was open.

Le lobby qui est sympathique car il y a beaucoup de places dispo et pleins de prises. Il possède également des jeux de sociétés, un babyfoot et une console nintendo. Il est possible de venir s’asseoir avec sa nourriture qu’on soit seul ou en groupe + il y a des places dehors et des places au niveau de la fontaine comme les tuileries. De plus, il y a un micro-onde et de quoi faire de l’eau chaude. Petit plus d’ailleurs pour l’odeur présent lorsqu’on entre dans le lobby. Pour ce qui est de la chambre, rien à dire, spacieux et dans la salle de bain, l’eau ne sort pas de la cabine et la pression de douche est ok. Pour ce qui est de l’emplacement, c’est spacieux à côté de l’hôtel et il est juste en face de la gare. La station est situé 1 station après Bern. Il y a les trains, les trams et bus de disponibles. De plus, on a un COOP juste en bas de l’hôtel mais dommage qu’il ferme à 19h après il ouvre quand même à 6h30 donc bon.

L’expression « ne pas apprécier » est fort mais je dirai que pour améliorer ça serait bien qu’il y ait un frigo dans la chambre. Plus que la clim ne soit pas sur automatique pour qu’on puisse le gérer à 100% car sinon il change de lui même on va dire. Les toilettes publiques de l’hôtel qui se trouvent à côté des parkings et qu’il n’y a pas de réseau peuvent faire peur quand même.

Beim Frühstück hat etwas in der Küche gebrannt, und unsere Kleider waren leider von beissenden Geruch getränkt. Unser Hinweis hat den Herrn an der Reception leider gar nicht interessiert und wir gingen mit unseren schönen, leider nicht mehr fein riechenden Kleider an eine Konfirmation. Er hätte für den Ärger wenigstens das Parktiket bezahlen können, aber es hat ihn nicht interessiert. Das war schade.

Während im ‚Stay Cooook‘ alles gut über die App funktionierte, aber der persönliche Kontakt fehlte, wurde mir im Moxy wieder bewusst, wie schön es ist, von echten Menschen herzlich empfangen, bedient und verabschiedet zu werden. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team!

It was close to the station, but coming from Bern Central Station, you have to cross a footbridge, which makes it a bit difficult to access. The surrounding area is currently a construction site, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking to explore the neighborhood. However, everything else is highly recommended. Also, the accommodation provides a transport pass, which was very convenient. If you don’t have a Swiss Travel Pass, this can help you save a significant amount on transportation costs.
