Basecamp Resorts Revelstoke

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung am Waldrand mit Blick von der Terrasse auf den smaragdgrünen Fluss und die Berge war außergewöhnlich. Die Wohnung war für 3 Personen ausreichend groß und sehr sauber. Mit dem Auto war man in wenigen Minuten in Revelstoke-Downtown wo es viele Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen und Essen gehen gab.

Die Anzahl an Besteck und Tellern war für 3 Personen etwas dürftig, dass restliche Equipment war aber in ausreichender Menge verfügbar und von guter Qualität. Das Badezimmer war leider relativ klein.

As we stayed at the hotel 3 years ago, we noticed how popular the place has become. Unfortunately, this time our experience was not as pleasant. Around 9 PM, there were no towels available for the hot tub, and later, around 1 AM, some guests listen to music loud, which disturbed our sleep. Additionally, there were several families with small children riding bicycles and scooters in the parking area. This did not seem very safe for the children and could also potentially cause damage to other guests’ vehicles. Perhaps it would be helpful to place a note reminding guests that the parking area is not intended for children’s activities. That said, we want to emphasize that this is not a complaint about the hotel owners. We truly like this place and always try to treat it with care, as it feels like our home, even if we stay only for one or two nights. We simply hope that other guests will also be respectful and careful so everyone can enjoy their stay.
