The carpets were visibly due for a deep clean. The shower area lacked any shelf or ledge to place toiletries — a basic amenity that was noticeably missing. One thing that felt unfair: guests are not informed upfront that the plastic key card must be returned at checkout, and that losing it results in a SAR 20 fine. This should be communicated clearly at check-in, not discovered later. Overall: A 7 out of 10 stay — not bad, but a few straightforward fixes would make a real difference.
