Motel is very old, you can smell damp. If it would cost me less then 100 $ per night, then it would be ok. But almost 400$ per night, it's tooo over priced

Disappointed After 40+ Years of Visits I’ve been coming to this hotel in OCNJ for over forty years, and it’s upsetting to see how far it’s declined. Outside the rooms, there’s a strong smell of urine, and the pool area is in poor shape — chipped, broken, and clearly neglected. We also saw people walking around the property smoking marijuana, which was disturbing and not what you’d expect in a family-friendly environment. For the cost of staying here, it should be significantly cleaner and better maintained. To be fair, the room itself was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the carpet appeared newer. But the exterior of the property needs serious attention. Very disappointing overall. I know we’re paying for convenience and location but I was disappointed.

While I was sitting at the pool, a staff member and an exterminator were discussing setting traps for something and also discussing taking care of bedbugs as soon as the rooms were empty.

Enjoyed the proximity to the boardwalk with two small children. Quiet and clean. Room larger than I expected.

This was a comfortable place to stay in an unbeatable location (1.5 blocks from the boardwalk). We didn’t mind the sounds of the amusement park nearby. We stayed with a 5 year old and 1 year old and both were comfortable. The mini fridge was decent size enough to store milk and breakfast things for our family for the weekend. There was a slight musty smell on check-in, but it faded (and that’s the beach). The only real drawback was no coffee maker.
