The Watling Inn

Friendly staff, good location for my purpose, clean and comfortable, nice breakfast and very good value. Perfect for an overnight stop.

The room was chilly on arrival until I turned the heater on and there was traffic noise from 6am as it’s close to a busy road. If I stayed again I may request a side room if available.

Staff were lovely and friendly room was clean and tidy were brilliant with our 2 year old

One let down was the shower pressure

The room was very clean and tidy. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. I would recommend this excellent hotel to anyone. Thank you for a fantastic weekend.

Bed was comfortable and room was warm and clean

No breakfast ( even though I spoke to staff the night before and was part of the price)as no staff around this morning at 9am; waited for 15 mins and then decided to leave

Bed was comfortable, breakfast was cooked well. Staff were polite and pleasant.

I found the TV confusing, but then I didn't look at the instructions, I just flicked the on switch in the hope of watching TV. I was tired so didn't have the patience to start logging in and all that intails.

I had to leave at 06:30/07:00 breakfast was not served until 08:00 so left without breakfast. have stayed here before , clean and comfortable.

thought 08:00 for breakfast was very late. I asked for a vat receipt and was told I would get it tomorrow, I take it by email, but have not received as yet.

shower was not that good to regulate temp
