Best Western Plus Desoto

I like the location it’s close to everything.

Let me say this first the ladies at the desk were very and extremely patient considering the position they were put in. When we arrived I had booked 2 rooms they only had me in the computer for one and said they were already OVER booked so she went thru the paper work and took another man's room and gave it to us. Well we were supposed to have rooms close to each other but ended up on the 2nd and 3rd floor instead. Me ,my husband and our 2 boys were on the second floor well our bed had 2 sheets and no blanket and no linens for the couch bed so I go to the front desk and ask and she hands me a sheet for the couch and a sheet to sleep with that's it. No blankets just sheets. The couch mattress had stains and stuff stuck in the carpet in the room also had a TV missing. Move on to the room on the 3rd floor. It was clean well stocked and had blankets and linens for the couch but it was the room that they took from a gentle man when we came in well apparently it wasn't put in the computer so he was also given a key to the room where my son, mom and daughter were staying so HE WALKED IN ON THEM!!!! HOW SCARY!!!! What if they wouldn't have been in there?? He could have taken everything!!! Anyway he left and then we went to eat well we got back and her key no longer worked because he got a key so we had to go back to the desk and get a new key!! Also they only have 2 elevators and only 1 was working so you had to wait! And the pool it was supposed to be warm well it was soooooo cold the kids didnt want to get in!! The ones that did didnt stay in long and got out shaking and freezing... over all we were very let down with this stay because we stay with best western alot...

The Best Western didn't have my reservation even though I showed them my confirmation number. The worst experience and we weren't allowed to stay. I'll never use you again to book hotels.

I didn't like the fact that they didn't have my reservation and wouldn't use the confirmation number.

Everything was decent and good.

It was some dead roaches on curtains.

My room had an mildew smell, carpet filthy box spring was broken on left side, toilet paper holder broke, no towels, my room didn't get cleaned after I asked for it, children running, yelling in hallways @ 11:15 @night. I have videos not photos & it's to large to upload. I worked in the hotel industry as a assistant supervisor in housekeeping, and I understand there can be some stuff we can't control however especially for this to be a Best Western franchise I'm very disappointed, I chose that Best Western Hotel because of prior stays at other Best Western over 3 decades of traveling this was the first time I've ever been disappointed like this that I've complained. After driving 11 hours the last thing you want to encounter is a nasty Hotel/room and uncomfortable bed with lack of accommodations.
