Tinkerbell's Retreat

We've just returned from a two week stay at Tinkerbell's Retreat and we loved it. We were a family group of 7 and used all 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. I had the master suite downstairs which was spacious and comfortable. The rest of the family was upstairs. We spent all of our time either in the pool or the kitchen area so didn't use the front seating or dining as it wasn't needed. There is also a downstairs toilet separate to the master suite. It was great having the laundry facilities so we didn't need to take much with us. The pool was great, we didn't need it heated but we are winter sea swimmers so didn't find it cold. It was very refreshing after hot sticky days in the theme parks. My sister and I sat out most nights by the pool in to the early hours reading and listening to the wildlife beyond the screening. The villa location is great, easy to find, felt safe and the resort is well maintained. Access to the property was via key code which was issued a few days before we arrived so no need to take keys out with us. Some basic supplies were left for us - shampoo and conditioner, soap, bin liner, laundry soap etc. Obviously we had to do our shopping for supplies but it was nice to have those few bits to get us started on our arrival. Rubbish/trash was picked up daily when left outside in the bin. The kids loved spotting the squirrels and lizards around the resort and the villa.

On collection of our parking ticket to access the security gates to the resort, we had to pay a $20 fee which seems a little off considering we'd paid a lot of money for the villa but it is what it is so be prepared. There are other facilities at the resort such as a play area, gym, communal pool so maybe you're paying for those (?) but we didn't use them. Squeaky beds! They were very comfortable but squeaked every time you moved. This is a very minor 'didn't like' because there is nothing else to write about!
