Palm Beach Villas Bali

You can hear nothing but the ocean, amazing view, fantastic place for sunbath. The family house we stayed in was the closed to the sea. Never before we lived so close to the water. The round-shaped cottage house is perfect place to relax, work, talk or eat breakfast. We really wished we could stay longer. The owner is super nice and helps you with everything. If you order food or want to make a loundry, he takes care and doesn't charge you a penny. Only as much the original service costed. It was hard for us to leave this place even for a moment due to the joy, but when we did, late afternoon... for 30 or 45 minutes, the room was clean and tidy. We are pretty sure that the owner respected our privacy and as soon as he has seen that we are leaving, he took his chance to clean up our room before we come back. Definite come back!

You have to take care of transportation to get here (Grab, Gojek or Taxi are not expensive). If you are not too much in local food and transportation, your options are limited. But all this has nothing to do with our stay. If it was in touristy area, it wouldn't be so calm here, same goes with restaurants and shops.

We had a pleasant stay. Palm Beach Villa is remote, quiet and a good place to just relax and swim in the ocean. You have your own little beach, sunning chairs and your villa is 10 feet from the water. We stayed in the traditional Balinese style villa. It was spacious and the bed was very clean and comfortable. The garden and beach area are beautiful and very cared for and clean (opposed to the places outside of the compound). Our host, Gede, was very kind, always open and honest when asked about details, prices and recommendations and really tried to accommodate us. We also had breakfast a few times and the portions were big enough and well prepared. They had a menu from a nearby Wartung (Restaurant) if you wanted to order in. The level of that restaurant is higher than any restaurant nearby, but so were the prices. We visited the restaurant instead of ordering in, it's clean, well maintained and the staff is very very friendly, plus the view is amazing! One advice: if smth isn't on the menu and they give you a prices: it's double what it should be. You need to haggle.

- You need to be prepared, time and money wise, that this place is around 3-4h car ride from the Airport. - Ants: can't leave anything you buy lying around. Not even packed in plastic. Everything we bought got opened somehow by the ants or another animal. - Really very rural area. It's not easy to find a place, that meets western standards, to eat. - difficult to get around: need to book a driver or rent a scooter. Walking is a no-go since there are almost nowhere on Bali pedestrian walkways. - toilet flushes very weakly and the toilet seat has old moldy spots that you can't get rid of. Just replace it.

Very quiet and chill place, the hosts were eager to help and very nice. There's a good little restaurant nearby that the host was able to order take away from for us, or drive us to it if needed. The little private corner of beach is great too! It was the perfect place for a peaceful few days when we don't plan on doing much apart from resting.

The natural public pool is very close, but the lack of privacy wasn't expected. The location is unfortunately not great if you want to explore by foot.

Very nice villas, great breakfast, we were the only guests at that time so we had the whole beach to ourselves. But even with other guests it would have been nice, there are only 4 villas on the property. Our host was ready to help with everything, communication was very easy through whatsapp.

The place is in a very rural area, food options are very limited. There is actually only one restaurant close by, but it is very nice.

On Booking.com there is mentioned Swimming pool. But not at all mentioned that it’s a Public pool away from the Location of Palm Beach Villas Bali. Very disappointed. First we wanted to move out stright away due looking forward for a weekend where therebis a pool. But we felt so welcomed by Pak Gede and Family that webfelt sorry for them. Such a great nice Balinese Family.

Nice quite place at the beach. The owners are really nice and helpful. Beautiful house, very roomy with mosquito-nets and a wonderful view at the sea.

breakfast was amazing. sitting watching the ocean as we ate our brekky. awesome.

only booking 2 nights!! I wish I had stayed longer - such a beautiful accomodation.
