Tru By Hilton Alcoa Knoxville Airport, Tn

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The only downfall is the highway that it is on is super busy and it’s very difficult and unsafe to try to pull out. There are no stop lights close by to break up the traffic to make it safe to pull out. Otherwise a great hotel.

Hotel was fine but computer to badge door pass was out on one computer, one elevator was out and the air conditioning in the hallway was out. Needs some maintenance.

There was not anything I liked about this hotel

The staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing, we had to have the keys redone 6 times before it would ever work the first room they put us in the air was out on the floor and it was miserable and the faucet in bathroom was broken, they moved us to another floor and the handle to the shower was extremely loose and was ready to fall off, there was pubic hair in the wall of the shower that should have been cleaned but wasn’t I even have a picture as proof , the air didn’t seem to work in our room at night despite dropping the air to 68, the breakfast was not even mediocre the eggs and sausage was cold the oatmeal was very bland even adding brown sugar didn’t help it any I only managed to eat 2-3 bites of breakfast. And the lobby had a stinch to it that was overbearing.

We were just staying over night because we had an early morning flight. Everyone was so nice and accommodating! we got a great nights sleep, and a quick shuttle ride at 5:45 am! Liked the restaurant next door as well!

I was so excited to be at a hotel that had an amazing bed, comfy sheets and pillows. The air conditioner kept me nice and cool. Shower was great! No coffee in room but free coffee downstairs 24 hours. I will definitely stay here again!

First time staying but not the last. Many amenities, both in the room and in the lobby. Very clean and comfortable room.

Chose this hotel as it was the cheapest Hilton hotel "near" Cades Cove in Great Smoky National Park (over an hour drive). Hotel is a newish property, my room was in good condition, and furnishings were in good condition. Tru hotel rooms tend to be a bit cramped and bare-boned, so there's limited space to spread out/store items. Most things were in good working order, the blind was a bit jammed so had to force it down and the door wouldn't fully close/lock on its own, had to make sure to pull it. My room had a view of a meadow and the mountains - a surprise as the hotel was along a busy street facing the airport. The one issue that I had with this hotel was that my bill included a $50 parking fee. Hotel site indicates parking is free, I booked directly through Hilton and info on my app indicated it was free also. I always check parking costs, particularly at airport hotels as I know some charge for parking for overnight stays. I know some airport hotels have park and ride deals, but I stayed one night and drove away the next day. They also didn't ask for my plate #. I emailed the bill to the hotel and asked for them to remove the charge - no response. I called the "direct" number listed on the bill. I was told I had called the hotel, but the person who answered had a heavy accent and when I asked to have this charge removed from the bill she asked how I wanted to pay it. When I responded that parking was free, she immediately said she'd remove the charge. I did get a refund fairly quickly.
