Peumayen Atacama / Hostal & Cabaña

What an incredible place to stay! If you have a car in Atacama, this is just perfect ! We stayed with our family and enjoyed the apartment and facilities dearly . The apartment was comfortable and perfect. It had everything we needed to cook, dine, lounge, and enjoy ourselves. My kids loved the pool , trampoline , fusball table , ping pong , hammocks and the board games . Most of all the warmth of the owner Juan Carlos. We will sincerely miss him . You couldn’t ask for a more caring and hospitable man . He gave such thorough advice for what to do , where to eat , etc. We’ll miss you Juan Carlos !

Thanks to Carlos for being an amazing host, my friends and I felt so welcomed and safe and comfortable on the property. It is a little farther from city center so plan accordingly, Carlos was so gracious to pick us up, but it was also easy to ask for a local number to get taxi. The rooms are way more spacious than in the center and felt like a ranch, with amazing lounge areas, a pool, and views all around of Valle de la Luna and the stars

Check in rápido e atencioso. Quarto com cama king de bom tamanho, com sofá e mesa de apoio. Estacionamento amplo. Tem uma cozinha de uso comum com panelas e louças. Confortável e silencioso para boa noite de sono.

Lugar bem bonito, silencioso e agradável. Quarto grande. Único problema que encontramos foi que a água do chuveiro era de morna para fria e os dias estavam frios, foi tenso tomar banho, mas de resto tudo ótimo.

Oikein hieno huoneistohotelli. Tilaa huoneistossa oli hyvin, Kaiki siistiä ja toimivaa. Uima-allas myös aivan riittävä. Paikka on muutaman km päässä San Pedrosta mutta alue on tosi rauhallinen - ja poissa San Pedron valosaasteesta - mahdollistaen hyvän näkymän tähtitaivaalle. Carlos, paikan omistaja, oli erittäin avulias ja erinomainen isäntä!

It's really a small oasis in the desert. Warming and attending staff. A very well equipped kitchen for guests to cook if they see a need. Excellent surroundings. A perfect place to stay for a few days if you have your own transportation.

Staying at the Peumayen Atacama was the highlight of our stay in the Atacama Desert. Our place was lovely, clean and quiet. Carlos was amazing, he was always friendly, helpful and a joy to stay at his lodge. We miss him and are looking forward to returning one year soon just to come back and stay here again!!!

Very nice lodge, a short drive from town. Rooms are large and well equipped; same as shared kitchen. Common areas are very nice. Wifi is slow to non-existent in bedroom; one has to go to common areas for weak signal.

Buen lugar, buen atención. Todo limpio.
