Schull Harbour Hotel & Leisure Centre

The location is good

The carpet in my room was full of stains that looked like a dog and shit on the carpet by the window ! The smoke detector on the ceiling someone had placed a shower cap over it and the previous occupants quite clearly been smoking in the room . The Toilet seat was disgusting the towels in the bathroom are very small in size . The request for two single beds was not put in place and had to be fixed when we arrived after the the receptionist checking us in made us feel uncomfortable and like we were an inconvenience and I had to show her the response on my booking dot com app directly from the hotel itself. The receptionist also said it was hotel policy that she had to swipe my credit card even though I had paid in full before arriving. I overheard her then become rude and argumentative with other guests arriving for check-in over the same issue of wanting to swipe a credit card and she could not give a valid reason and just said it’s hotel policy ! .The indoor pool area was completely closed and overheard several different members of staff telling different guests different excuses as to minor was closed.

We loved the location very central to barleycove and Baltimore in between the two - also lovely walks in schull . Very clean great breakfast and friendly staff especially receptionists

Was looking forward to using pool facilities but they weren’t open - no advance warning would be my only critique

Staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough to help! Dined in the hotel also and food and service was excellent.

Gorgeous location. Great staff. Apartment perfect for our family's needs and kids loved the pool.

Couldn't fault it really. If I had to say something negative the food was a bit pricy in the restaurant. There's better value to be had in other restaurants close by.

We chose to go to this hotel as it had a swimming pool and the children wanted to swim, but upon arrival we were told the pool was closed; this caused huge dissapointment

The hotel was great, lovely location, just a dissapountment with the pool

Food was spectacular. Room comfortable.

No onside parking. Receptionist going on a break, no cover. No signage to explain why desk not covered.
