Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View, Tn

Wow. What an enjoyable hotel experience. From check in to check out, everything was perfect. The lobby is large, well decorated and inviting. The guest rooms seem like the hotel is brand new, even though it isn't. The breakfast had many offerings and staff was very attentive, making sure things were restocked. The rooftop bar, while small, has nice views of the capitol and the surrounding neighborhoods. The immediate area is very nice, new, bright and clean. Parking onsite seemed a bit high, so I elected to find a place offsite. There isn't anything really close, so you're in for a walk. And speaking of walk: Unless you're young and in good shape and the weather's nice, lower Broadway is not within walking distance. The route is uphill for several blocks and probably a mile or a little more. But during the day it's a $10 or less Lyft. Compared to the outrageously priced downtown hotels, this is definitely the place to stay!

The hotel is a short distance away from the hubbub of Broadway. We were able to walk there in about 20 minutes. Nashville seemed to be a safe place to walk overall, so we were comfortable with that especially while it was still light out. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and accommodating, everything clean.

Not a whole whole lot to do within a couple of blocks. Rooms facing onto 11th have some noise from the nearby highway

My GUAM Sisters met 9/9 - 9/12 for a reunion. Your staff were soo kind, accommodating,& professional. Our room was comfortable, good value, the breakfast good, location perfect & sites recommendations great. The lounge provided space for us to gather. Location was good. We were able to walk to get dinner.

Windows were dirty. Elevator floor appeared to be dirty and one end of the hallway smelled like dog.

Happy Hour did list any specials.

We stayed 7 days so the rooms weren't cleaned or linens changed daily or every other day. I made our bed daily. We did have clean towels every other day. The thing that bothered me the most was how dirty the windows were while sitting on the couchs looking out at the scenery. The maids and breakfast staff did not understand english, trying to explain I had a severe pepper allergy and needed to know what was in the breakfast foods was a bit frustrating. I loved the desk staff that greeted me when when I came back from a morning out shopping or a dinner out. The gentlemen at the desk at night always made me feel safe.

Would be great if could have parked reasonably in half empty parking garage
