Playa Montroig Camping Resort

Wonderful and very clean. We had booked 2 mobile homes, and one of the AC was broken and Steve moved us to another one. Confortable and clean.

The policy of the cleaning deposit and linen to be pay. Those are extra costs. Even though we left the cabin in and sparkling condition and gave us back our 100 euros cleaning deposit, they told us the we did not clean the shower.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent for kids.

The homes were a bit of a walk from the facilities. The home was a little small for us as family of 5.

The site is great. Caravans clean and well equipped. Could not ask for better for the price.

The property was great. Nothing to dislike. The hosts were not so friendly. Our flight was delayed so we did not arrive on site until after 9pm. We had 6 young children with us, so our first priority was to get food and drink as we had missed the site shop opening times. We checked in then went straight to order a takeaway (some of us went to order takeaway while the others ordered food as we knew from last year the restaurant stopped serving around 9.30-10, so we needed to be quick). As soon as we had our food we walked up to the host caravan. We rang the number on the notice board. The host was very rude, said, we knew you were on site, did you go to bar for a drink? We left the lights on your caravans and keys are on the table. We finish work at 9pm. I answered, no we did not go to the bar, we went to get food for the kids, and we do not know which caravans we are in. They reluctantly came out at this time to show us caravans. (My phone had gone flat in the journey, but before then, when I realised we were going to be late, I went to contact them but realised we had no out of hours contact details). During our stay water and electricity went off one morning, no attempt was made to inform us, a simple WhatsApp message would have been good. Everybody had to make contact with them first to find out what was happening. On check out: we hired a 3 bedroom caravan although there was only two of us, we were with family in other caravans and wanted the larger outside space so we could all be together. As there were only two of us in the caravan, only one bathroom was used. On checking the caravan, the host said the shower was not clean enough. The shower that had not been opened in our time there. We were told that we need to buy cleaning sprays to clean showers and mirrors - cleaning charges are £20 per hour. It should be noted. If you are hiring one of these caravans that cleaning is carried out by the last resident, not a cleaning company. So will not be well cleaned.

We have booked a mobile home with KelAir Campotel at Playa Montroig Camping Resort this May. Unfortunately it was a very bad experience. First of all, we booked a mobile home for 4 adults and 1 child. Well, three beds were kids sized beds so two of us had no sleep for 5 nights we’ve been there and yes, just like you’ll read in other reviews we agree pillows are a nightmare too. Not much in a mobile home; no washing up liquid, liquid soap, no hair dryer. Also you WILL PAY A LOT for towels and linen as these are also not included. The best part is, that after your stay you have to prepare mobile home for new guests like clean, strip duvets etc. and it has to be spotless. Bear in mind, if you cleaned it but it’s not to their expectations, Kel-Air will deduct €25 per hour cleaning from your deposit. So if you have a morning flight, be ready to wake up nice and early and get everything ready before you head to the airport, make sure it’s in immaculate condition for the next guests, because that’s what you do when you’re on holidays… Unless you’re happy to pay them €65 and they will provide the service that all other places provide for free! Kel-Air if you want to be a fair company include those charges upfront before customers book with you, transparent pricing is important. We have been to Spain many times and always been very happy with accommodation and service but Kel-Air has been our worst experience by far. Avoid. Book with other companies

We stayed at this amazing camping resort for two weeks and highly recommend. Derek was super friendly and helpful and was available if we needed.

Double bed not the most comfortable, but the kids single beds were good.

The resort is perfect for families, with lots going on.

Needed to bring own equipment to use most sports facilities, unless taking part in the organised competitions.

Liked everything!! First of all, the location of the bungalow - was veeeery silence, had all the utilities and the confort from home!! I really recommend it if you need peace and quiet. The owners are very kind and they resolve you any issue. You are really great people!! The camping have a lot of activities for kids and adults. Have like 4 pools: 2 for kids and 2 for adults(one by them were climatized and not very deep, perfect to spend time with kids too) The camping have exit to a large beach that is a little unconfy because of the rocks, but with a good shoe you can enjoy it! We will definetely repeat it, was more than perfect!!

Everything was more than good! I don't have nothing negative to say!! I recommend it!!
