Had a great stay at Potter’s Foothill House. We stayed in the Palisades cottage, which was a quiet, private spot on the beautiful property. Breakfasts were amazing every morning! Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I stayed at the cottage unit and it was wonderful. Spacious, very tastefully decorated, super clean with nice amenities and even a good size kitchen. Location is excellent just minutes from the center of Calistoga. Breakfast was top notch delivered to the room every morning with a wonderful variety and absolutely delicious. Every evening, we got little treats such as nuts or chocolate. The hosts, Lynn & Gregg, were very nice and helpful and gave us good recommendations for wineries to visit in the area. They are a very pleasant and wonderful couple. They made our stay memorable.

We had a very relaxing long weekend at this B&B owned and managed by husband and wife Lynn and Greg. We reserved the “Castillo” Room. The room was large, fully appointed with all items to assure comfort from soft bedding to water bottles, even by the bathroom sink, to a loofa, to cushy towels. Lynn welcomed us with rose, an orientation on what to do or see nearby and champagne and chocolates in our room. The next 3 days we were served delicious breakfasts, sweet and savory, in our room, carried to our doorstep by Greg. The breakfasts were prepared with TLC by Lynn with personalized “menu” handwritten cards. The portions were varied and generous. One afternoon, Lynn and Greg invited us to an impromptu afternoon feasting on a generous array of charcuterie with another couple and sampling on a few wines. We highly recommend this B&B for the supreme hospitality.

Very spacious suite with private veranda overlooking the lovely whimsical gardens. Greg and Lynn are gracious and thoughtful hosts greeting us with a glass of wine and checking on any special needs or requests. Luxurious bed and gourmet breakfast delivered to the room. Perfect place to relax in the wine country

We can't say enough about Foothil House. From the moment we were warmly greeted by Greg to our checkout, everything was wonderful. The attention to detail in the room, meals, amenities and service were amazing. We have stayed at many B & B's, but this one far exceeded our expectations!

Wouldn't change a thing!

Breakfast was better than we ever could have expected. The cottage was clean with a very comfortable bed. We didn’t take advantage of it but having a washer/dryer and full kitchen were an unexpected bonus.

This is pretty nitpicky but the water pressure in the shower was pretty poor and the wifi signal was really bad. The former was not a big deal and the latter just forced us to be more present instead of on our devices so I don’t see either one as a major issue.

This was by far the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. Everything was beyond expectations. From the moment we checked in we knew we were someplace special. The breakfast was amazing. Lynn and Gregg were perfect hosts. They made sure everything was the best for you. Only problem was we didn't stay long enough!

Although it seemed like small portions because they were served in individual-serving containers, but after finishing the food, it satisfied until mid-afternoon. The variety of food was good. It was very tasty. Looking back, I should have asked for more fruit and less baked sweets. You can discuss your preferences with the hosts and I'm sure they will accomodate.

The location seemed quiet, but the road traffic was still audible. It did not bother me much, but my better half said that he heard the big trucks in the middle of the night because everything else is super quiet.
