"Great hotel for Rio Grande Valley exploration"

This is a great hotel for a visit to the Rio Grande Valley! I was visiting the area for the annual bird festival (which is an incredible experience!) and it was the perfect place to stay. The hotel is physically attached to the convention center, so early morning field trips departing from the center’s circle drive are about a 1 minute walk away. The amenities of the hotel are nice. There is a breakfast buffet and a small bar for evening entertainment. The room was modern and very clean and quiet. I had a double-queen sized room facing the front of the hotel. There is also an outdoor pool and an indoor gym which I did not use. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. There is also plenty of free parking around the hotel grounds. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the RGV.

Clean rooms and restrooms, plenty of parking and in a quiet, nice area. Close to Sam’s and 4 minute drive to Walmart if needed. They have a lot of options at the store in the lobby (albeit a bit expensive but that’s pretty much standard). Didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant or grab breakfast but I would stay again and would recommend :).
